Conference Announcement

Conference Aim and Scope:
David Rosenthal’s theories of higher-order thought and mental qualities have contributed greatly to the development of a comprehensive theory of consciousness that spans both science and philosophy.  The aim of this conference is to present and discuss new, philosophical or scientific work on matters relevant to higher-order thought, mental qualities, and this distinctive theory of conscious experience.  Already confirmed speakers include scholars and scientists from North America, Europe, and Asia.  We will be allowing ample time for discussion of each talk, and warmly welcome participation in these discussions by philosophers, scientists and others with a keen interest in theories of consciousness or related issues.
